Ínfimos orificios de la trama textil, sutiles rendijas entre los listones de la persiana, rajadura de la pared… Espacios que parecen ser la nada misma hasta que a través de ellos se filtra el agua impertinente o el aire frío del invierno, y el ojo holgazán, habituado al bloque y al total, se obliga a mirar lo que no veía.

Grietas que pueden ser abismos letales u oportunidades de libertad. Fisuras que pueden ser sanadas, ocultadas, destacadas o quebradas para siempre.

Espacios intersticiales es el camino que el colectivo Fwiya y artistas invitados eligieron, en esta exposición y catálogo como el resultado de animarse a atravesar, recorrer y dejar filtrar por las aberturas disimuladas el mundo que nos rodea.

Minimal holes in the textile weave, subtle slits between the slats of the blind, crack in the wall…Spaces that seem to be pure nothingness, until thrugh them impertinent water or cold winter air filters through, and the lazy eye, accustomed to the block and to the complete is obliged to look at what it did not see.

Cracks that can be lethal chasms or opportunities of freedom.

Interstitial Spaces is the path that was chosen by Fwiya Group to as a result of daring to to break through, explore and filter the disguised openings of the world that surrounds us.
